Er. B.D. Singh took over as Chief Engineer, Bhakra Dam, BBMB, Nangal on 3rd December, 2008 . Born on 03.04.1954, he is a graduate in Mechanical  Engineering. He joined Punjab Irrigation Department as Temporary Engineer on 10.09.1978. He worked as Sub Divisional Officer /Assistant Design Engineer, Executive Engineer and, Superintending Engineer in various offices of Punjab Irrigation Department at Ranjit Sagar Dam, Anandpur Sahib Hydel Project. Before joining BBMB in 2008, he worked as Superintending Engineer ( Mechanical Circle ), Superintending Engineer (Inspection & Quality Control), Superintending Engineer (Administration) and Chief Purchase Officer in Ranjit Sagar Dam Project. He also worked as Deputy commissioner ( Rehabilitation & Re-settlement ) at Ranjit Sagar Dam Project in addition to his own duties. During his tenure of over 30 years in Punjab Irrigation Department and BBMB, he worked in different capacities and acquired rich experience & expertise in design, construction, operation & maintenance of Irrigation Projects, canal structures, appurtenant works, heavy earth moving machinery, gates and gearing and mechanical installations of Irrigation Projects, material management, personnel management & administration.  He has displayed dynamic leadership in achieving targets while working on various assignments during his tenure.  He is fond of reading and spiritualism.

       Er. Jai Dev born on 03.05.1954 took over as Chief Engineer Beas Dam BBMB Talwara on 04.11.2011. He hails from Jodhpur (Rajasthan). 

After passing out graduation in Civil Engineering from M.B.M. Engineering College (University of Jodhpur-Rajasthan) in 1975, he initially joined as Junior Engineer on 20.03.1976 in Rajasthan Canal Project Bikaner now called Indira Gandhi Nahar Project (IGNP) (Rajasthan Irrigation Department) in design of canal structure. Thereafter promoted there as Assistant Engineer and joined on 17.08.1978 on the work of design canal structures like Regulator, falls, Bridges etc. in IGNP, besides on construction of O.F.D. Works (Water Courses) in command area Development (CAD) organization of IGNP and Subsequently in quality control, unit of CAD organization. 

On 14.06.1988 he was promoted as Executive Engineer and joined in CAD organization worked on various postings like Planning & Construction of water courses (O.F.D.Work). Entrusted with the work of Regulation, Maintenance of Canals, Irrigation booking, Collection of Irrigation Cess, Vigilance & Quality Control unit in IGNP Area of Bikaner and Hanumangarh District of Rajasthan. 

Further he was promoted as Superintending Engineer and took over charge on 06.07.1999 in CAD organization of IGNP Bikaner in Quality Control (vigilance) and in IGNP on the work of Regulation Maintenance of Canals, Colonies, Irrigation Booking, Collection of Irrigation Cess. 

On 15.02.2007 he was promoted as Additional Chief Engineer and took over charge in CAD organization, Hanumangarh on the work of construction of water courses (O.F.D.Work) in Bikaner & Hanumangarh District (on Sidhmukh Nohar Irrigation Project (SNIP) & Amar Singh Sub Branch Project (ASSB). 

Er. Jai Dev again in his parent state of Rajasthan was promoted as Chief Engineer took over as such on 01.01.2008 on the work of construction of Water Courses (O.F.D. Work) in jurisdiction of Jaisalmer, Bikaner & Hanumangarh District (IGNP Area) and Hanumangarh & Sri Ganga Nagar District in SNIP, ASSB & Gung Canal Project Area in Rajasthan. 

As far as BBMB is concerned, Er. Jai Dev, on transfer from his Parent State of Rajasthan, took over the charge of the post of Chief Engineer, BSL, BBMB Sundernagar on Operation, Maintenance of Pandoh Dam, Tunnels, Hydel Channel, Balancing Reservoir there and further on transfer from BSL Project Sundernagar took over as Chief Engineer Beas Dam BBMB Talwara on 04.11.2011.

Er. R.K. Garg was born on 30.05.1955. He passed B.Sc. Engineering (Civil) from Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra in 1976. He joined Haryana Irrigation Department in February, 1977 as Assistant Engineer. He worked in Central Design Office as Assistant Design Engineer in Irrigation Department Haryana, Chandigarh for 20 Years (1977 to 1978 & 1981 to 1999) during which he designed number of Hydraulic structure such as Head Regulators/Cross Regulators, Bridges, Pump Houses etc. He also done Hydraulic design of Hathini Kund Barrage. 
He was promoted as Executive Engineer by Haryana Government during the year 1999 and was posted in BBMB. He worked as Senior Design Engineer (SDE), Water Regulation, BBMB, Nangal for 8 years (2000 to 2008) and was awarded Gold Medal by Chairman, BBMB for his excellent work. In the year 2008 he was promoted as Superintending Engineer by Government of Haryana and worked as Director, Water Regulation, BBMB, Nangal for about 3 ½ years and Superintending Engineer, Pong Dam Circle, BBMB, Talwara for about 6 months. During his period of Water Regulation, lowest inflows (drought) during 2004 & 2009 and very good inflows during 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010 & 2011 which were managed very well and to the satisfaction of BBMB officers as well as Partner States.
Appreciating his work, BBMB promoted him to the rank of Chief Engineer during the month of October, 2011 (before regular promotion from his Parent State). However, he was promoted as Chief Engineer by Haryana State also on 14.12.2011. Since November, 2011 he is working as Chief Engineer, BSL Project, BBMB, Sundernagar.
